This documentary is really important, and it should be shown to every kid in the world so they understand the importance of not using too much water. I, myself, have been very unclear in the past about why we should all conserve water, because in school I was taught that all the water used in the world simply returns back to the water systems through evaporation, precipitation, percolation etc...
However things happen differently when corporations take over the water and move it to other countries to sell. Coca Cola, for example, goes into poor countries that are already water-stressed, and opens up giant factories where they pump up half a million litres of water from beneath the desert sands every single day! They use 3 litres of water for every 1 litre of Coca Cola made. Places like Rajastan India, are literally not able to find water to drink, grow food or bathe with- their wells are 180 feet deep (dug by hand) and still running dry. How can the heads of Coca Cola sleep at night? Please Please Please do not support Coca Cola by buying their products. It's the very least we can do. And please watch this eye-opening film :) xo
