What else happened yesterday? I got to pet a beautiful horse, who came right up to me when I called him over, Oh, and I also ran into a naked guy on the beach... I had walked way to the end where there are big rocks that form a little private alcove, and I sat in the water, soothing the fire ant stings I had just received a few minutes earlier, when I apparently stepped into their territory (sorrrrry). This guy came right up to me, naked, and since he was standing and I was sitting... the conversation went something like this (in Spanish): What's your name?
Lyn. You are not wearing any clothes.
Yes, I was running. ?
Where are you from?
Toronto.
Do you have a boyfriend?
Yep.
Then he went and looked around the other side of the rocks (maybe to see if anyone was coming?), and I got creeped out and took off.
After dancing I slept in a souped-up tent (equipped with a mattress!), on the deck of a local cafe called Moca. The owner, Josh, lived in a tent for a year in Australia, and has been super supportive of the project, and since I was trying to avoid bullet ants, I said yes to his funny proposition
The people here are soooo amazing. I love them. I will write about them soon, because I love the way these people raise their families and take care of each other.
Wish me luck tonight in the tent! John is ing me an incredible tent that is suspended from three trees and looks like a ufo! I cannot wait to see it! You are a life saver, John!! — with Good In Tent Project and beautiful-vegan.com.
