Road Trip to Northern Ontario!

Hello beautiful vegans! Well, James, Josh and I decided to do a road trip (I love road trips!), to Thunder Bay in northern Ontario, Canada.

this place is powerful and moving. We camped at many different locations along the way to extend the trip and get a feel for this area. 

There are beautiful rock paintings all along the cliffs here, made by indigenous Agawa people a long time ago. 
The air is pure here, and the water is crystal clear, and icy cold, even though the air is hot.

We brought a big cooler filled with all sorts of vegan treats, and we are taking it easy. I am a born traveler. I am happiest on the road with my belongings in a backpack. I have lived in a tent before with Josh when he was little, and I am so proud of myself for doing it. I home-schooled him for many years. Best decision ever. It gave us freedom to try different things, and to teach Josh things that I felt were important.

This trip was another bonding one. We cooked our food on a fire, pitched the tent, went canoeing, saw a beaver, tons of deer, fish, birds and some moose! We hiked and explored. 
I will never forget this.

I'm really afraid of bears, and I was scared to walk through the woods to go to the out-house alone, but James said "It's totally fine- there are no bears here. To many campers around". So I headed down the path, and when I got to the washroom, there was a poster on the door that read "Always travel in twos because a bear has been sighted, and he does not appear to be afraid of people"..
